Poster concepts

In my final poster, I have made some changes on the colours, transparence and the layers.

I have turned down the transparence of the birds that are not close with the letter “Who am I” as to make contrast of the letters and draw the viewers eyes to the middle.

I have also add some yellow lights on the largest bird, the letterforms and on the person to let the viewers know that something is happening with them but not those birds in grey colour.

Therefore, I think now the poster looks much better than the previous ones because there were no any highlights to show the main focus in those posters developments. However, I think I could also put some more colours in it or perhaps play around with the colour palette?

My poster draft

For my poster, I was also playing with the black and white spaces and still figuring out which one I should be choosing to finalise.

The idea of my poster is to show the progress of myself finding my identity and purpose to be in New Zealand, the bunch of birds represent the idea of migration and because there are lots of birds there, it indicates that I wasn’t actually alone, they also represent those people I met in New Zealand, such as my friends, schoolmates, international students, people who have helped me to get used to staying in a foreign country.

This is the draft and I am going to colour it soon, I think I could play more with the light and shadows in my poster, maybe putting some lightings on the birds? To reinforce my idea.

Progress of creating my level design in Unity

At this stage I learnt how to import my one files to Unity and started dragging my characters and background into it, I also knew the square frame is the camera so when I click the “game” button I can actually know how it is going to look like when I’m playing with it, the next step would be enabling the monsters and my characters moving along in my level design.

My progress of making my first game in unity 3D

Here is my progress of making my first game in Unity 3D, I got stuck when I need to adjust the size of the fire and put it underneath the rocket, I couldn’t figure out how to move it.. But overall I feel like it wasn’t as hard as I thought to make a game(?) I hope I can figure it all the problems and can make a proper game out at the end…
