I am going to do ring binding for my publication as I have bought a very thick and hard cardboard for making my publication cover. However, I forgot about the problem of doing ring binding when there are images crossing two pages in my publication, I either need to give up on putting images crossing two pages or change to do another types of binding. And I have decided to continue working on ring binding because I think it looks nice and suits the style of the black cardboard.

This was the third and also the last time of my photographic experience at X-treme. Finally I could end my embracing photography experience now.. It is hard to always asking for strangers access for photos especially as a shy and introvert person. However, I did enjoy the process of making a better series of photograph when I each time look at the photos’ quality with more improvements. I realised how important it is to take good photos in a short time with each bunch of customers because I would feel bad to take too long for taking photos with the same bunch of customers. These photographic experiences have indirectly trained me to take good quality of photos while forcing myself not taking too long in the process.

These illustration were drawn from my drawing pad and this was also my first time illustrating on a drawing pad. It was really fun and the outcome was unexpectedly better than I thought. I did not fill the illustrations as I wanted the outlines to be looking more obvious. The kiddy patterns are used for highlighting the elements of X-treme Entertainment.

John is a very outgoing and friendly man, he has been very kind to me every time I visit Xtreme and take photos around the entertainment, He gave me as much as information and stories he can, he has spent almost an hour taking with me even though his boss has walk passed us but he would still stay with me until I finish asking questions. After a while of taking photos there, I got really tired and have sat down for resting, he came to me and ask me what kind of drink I want, I told him that I want a bottle of water and I will pay him back but he rejected and told me that is my prize for accomplishing my interview, that was such a touching and warming moment, I didn’t expect to have anything from him, I see why there are many customers remembering him and always get him food, he is the most hearty local employee I have seen in New Zealand.

This is my second photographing experience at Xtreme entertainment, however I was too shiny to take photos in front of the customers and John, I have just interviewed him with getting his information and stories working at Xtreme. Most of the photos are taken behind the customers as I was too scared to be rejected if I ask them for letting to take photos in front of them. This was the hardest photography experience I have ever had, even compared to taking photos at AUT south campus, as this time I am taking photos as an AUT students outside AUT campus, therefore there might be some people doubting and being suspicious about my identity. I wasn’t happy with this photography experience yet I was happy with the interviewing experience this time because I have gotten a lot of information about John, at least I have taken a further step to interview a person I am not familiar with.
